Telegraph Hill parrots (by Stan Teng)
The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

The true story of a Bohemian St. Francis and his remarkablerelationship with a flock of wild red-and-green parrots. MarkBittner, a dharma bum*, former street musician in San Francisco, falls in with the flock as he searches for meaning in his life, unaware that the wild parrots will bring him everything he needs.

Directed by Judy Irving, this 4K restoration is a rhapsody to the birds, nature and harmony. We’re proud to offer this wonderful restoration of the 2006 classic doco about a homeless man adopted by wild parrots in the city of The Beat Poets.
