Welcome to Antidote Films

Antidote Films is one of Australia’s leading independent distributors of high quality, thought provoking Australian and international documentary and feature films. We try to present as many of our new films as the filmmakers intended – on the silver screen. We arrange Q&A events with filmmakers and other thought leaders; we sell films as DVD, on TV and online, through our partner Beamafilm.

Antidote tries to live up to its name and bring you a different world of movies to what’s offered by the Multiplexes. We love documentaries especially long form, authored docs, movies that are works of love and sacrifice, that make us think, laugh, cry….and act. We support progressive politics and don’t mind being a minority voice.

Antidote is also a film producer with several projects in early development. Stand by for more news on these projects as they grow.
